John Priest, savvy Chairman of Thebes Incorporated, has called an emergency session of the Board of Directors of the great trading house founded by Old Cadmus. The meeting will call upon the finest minds of Thebes, Inc. to solve the current recession affecting the company "like some ancient plague", declares Priest.

Priest assures that Oedipus, the legendary President of Thebes, Inc., will be the first called in front of the board. Creon, the company's CFO, has already comissioned Oracle, Wall Street's leading think tank, to help organize a financial plan for the years ahead. It's not easy being king. It's much more difficult when you're fated to kill your father and marry your mother. It's next to impossible with the Board of Directors breathing down your neck. Such is the life of Oedipus, whose family sits atop a corporate empire during the tumultuous 1980's. Struggling to learn from his mistakes, Antigone writes her own tragic ending by challenging her own family's rule.

The first half of our show will follow Sophocles' classic 2,400 year old tale of the doomed Theban king, followed by his own sequel "Antigone". Both will be set in the Wall Street of 20 years ago.
